How do I use InstantQuotes?

InstantQuotes allows brokers to quote new and existing clients in the EasyAppsOnline system. Select one of the 2 methods below to start using InstantQuotes!

Method #1: InstantQuotes for New Clients

  1. Click Clients.

  2. Select EasyQuotes Wizard.

  3. Click Start Wizard.

 NOTE: If you accidently exit the wizard before completing all of the steps 

  1. Click Clients.

  2. Select EasyQuotes Wizard.

  3. Locate your client's name from the drop down menu shown.

  4. Click Finish setting up this client.

Step 1:  Company Information

Enter the Company Name, Coverage Effective Date, Zip Code, and County in the provided fields. If you do not know the County select "Not sure? Click Here" to be directed to a county look-up page.

 
Account Manager Assignment *Only visible to Administrator Accounts
This feature will allow site administrators to designate what broker/producer accounts will have access to this client within EasyQuotes. If you do not wish to provide anyone else access to this client other than yourself, simply choose My Broker.

Step 2: Upload Employee/Dependent Census Information

1. Click Download EasyCensus Template and Save the file to your computer. Open the file you saved, and populate it with all employee and dependent information. Save the file.

2. Return to your EasyAppsOnline screen and Click Upload Completed Census. Click Browse to navigate to your saved file and select the file. Click Upload Completed Census to finish loading the data into the system. If the system detects an error during the upload process, you will be prompted with a warning and a Fix and Re-Upload button.

Tips for a Successful Census Upload

  • ALL fields for each employee must be filled out.
  • Do NOT leave any rows between employees or dependents blank.
  • Dependents MUST be entered directly underneath the employee.
  • Use the drop down menus (where applicable) to ensure you are using the correct format.
  • You may save the census template as any of the following file types: (.xls, .xlsx, .xlsm).

Step 3: Accessing the InstantQuotes Page

  1. Click Get EasyQuotes.
  2. Select the InstantQuotes button next to any of the carrier logos on the list.

Step 4: Company Information

  1. Select an SIC Code.
  2. Enter a 5 digit Zip Code. (State auto selected)
  3. Select one of the available Counties from the menu.
  4. Click Continue.

Step 5: Choose Carriers

  1. Check the box next to each carrier you wish to quote.
  2. If quoting Humana you will be asked to enter your Humana SAN (Service Agent Number).
    Note: If you do not have a Humana SAN, Please contact Easy Rate at 1-800-327-9728

Step 6: Company Plans

  1. Filter the displayed product grid by checking any of the desired options on the left.
  2. To add a product to your cart, select the checkbox or click anywhere in the product row. You may also check all displayed plans by clicking the checkbox at the very top of the product grid next to the word Carrier.
  3. You can view your selected plans by clicking on the View Selected Plans at the top center of the page next to the shopping cart icon.
  4. After you have selected all desired plans, click Continue.

Step 7: Get Quote

  1. Side-by-Side Plan Comparison - This will provide an excel spreadsheet with each product you've selected in an easy to view comparison layout that can be saved and used for client presentation.
  2. InstantQuotes Proposal - Generates an Adobe PDF of all of the selected plans that provides product rate and benefit details.
  3. View Previous Quote - View previously generated quotes for your client (Maximum of 10 quotes per client may be saved).



Method #2: InstantQuotes for Existing Clients


Step 1: Accessing the InstantQuotes Page

  1. Click Clients.
  2. Locate your client from the company list.
  3. Mouse over Expand.
  4. Click the Misc. Software tab.
  5. Click Get EasyQuotes.
  6. Select the InstantQuotes button next to any of the carrier logos on the list.

Step 2: Company Information

  1. Select an SIC Code.
  2. Enter a 5 digit Zip Code. (State auto selected)
  3. Select one of the available Counties from the menu.
  4. Click Continue.

Step 3: Choose Carriers

  1. Check the box next to each carrier you wish to quote.
  2. If quoting Humana you will be asked to enter your Humana SAN (Service Agent Number).
